Frames

Standard sizes normally used in the manufacturing of Door & window frames are provided in sections. This translates to the thickness x width of the cut wood. Length of the cut sections can be between 600mm to 4200mm. But, normally for doors it would be between 2100mm to 3000mm and for windows it would largely depend on the drawings architects provide.

Seasoning of timber in a klin in highly recommended to mitigate long term warpage, cracks and bend in the timber.
Since timber is a very precious thing, we do not cut and stock for ready delivery. We only cut the timber to order.
It is a process queue, we take it orders and work on first come, first served basis. This largely depends on your requirement.
We can deliver upto 100 cubic feet of cut sections per day.
We calculate your requirement in cubic feet and provide the quote accordingly. And upon receiving 50% payment in advance, process the timber for milling and cutting the sections.
A frame sections for a standard main door of 1050mm width would come to about 2.6 cubic feet and the costing would depend on the selection of timber. The Dandeli teak would then cost ₹11700 for the sections approximately and Acacia would cost ₹2,600.
Any hardwood or softwood can be cut into the standard sections. It is more important to know the application of the sawn sections. If it is for internal decorative usage softwoods like Pine, Cedar and many others could be used.
